Hooliganism is one of the most enduring psycho-social phenomena in human society.

Herd, a devised work by Inspiration Theatre, explores the concept of hooliganism and reflects on the contradictions of modern life. Will this collective behaviour erode civilisation, or is it just a mirror of our times? What are the timeless patterns of hooliganism?

Performed by an ensemble of six actors portraying over thirty characters, Herd offers a sharp, kaleidoscopic look at conformity, chaos, and the fragility of individual thought in the face of mass behaviour.

Founded in November 2013 by alumni of Tianjin Nankai High School, Inspiration Theatre is dedicated to forging deep emotional connections between performers and audiences. Our work aim to transform the stage into a space of resonance and reflection.Inspiration Theatre sees every performance as a reunion of souls.

Through this shared space, they invite audiences to confront questions of identity, relationship, and the deeper truths of being human.
