NOTT is my latest performance project in development. It explores puppetry and live camera as storytelling machines, unfolding a world of techno-horror in which humanity’s desire to understand, predict and control life only generates greater uncertainty. Moving between Earth and a shared limbo, the work asks how our smallest and most understandable choice such as the need to be loved, believed, or reassured, can accumulate into catastrophes no one intended to cause. Is the gene of destruction inevitably coded among our race and morality is just a placebo of the mind? Technology is not the villain but a mirror and amplifier of the destructive impulses already embedded within us.
