Glassbox is a research-led service design project that helps university students use generative AI with greater critical awareness, curiosity, and responsibility. Developed in response to a IBM brief on tackling bias in AI, it draws on interviews, diary studies, an AI-only essay experiment, and students’ real chat histories to reveal how AI use often happens privately, under pressure, and without space to question its assumptions.
